ok heres another essay. this time about where you grew up:

Vegas, Sin City. Where all the action happens. The bright lights, all the people, shows, the strip. The casinos. That’s where I grew up. Well not exactly the strip, about 10-20 minutes in North Las Vegas to be exact.
There, it was frigid cold in the winter, and blazing hot during the summer. Temperatures would reach up to 120+ during the dog days of august it was terrible, and no one would really venture out of the comfortable climate of their homes. Home…
My home was a 2 story house, always filled with people and pets. 2 parents, 5 children, and a 4 pack of golden retrievers. Always running up and down the stairs, or in some cases, tripping over a dog or sibling and rolling down. If we tired of staying in, we would go outside and play if the weather permitted.
Outside, we would either wear shorts and a t-shirt, or be bundled up in winter coats. We would roam the streets of our gated community feeling safe and secure. Where we lived, we had a variety of things to do to choose from. We had an indoor swimming pool, a game room, and a private park. We were never bored.
Staying out of trouble was always hard for us. Every household had an average of 3+ kids and lots of kids always means trouble. At first, we felt out of place, being the only Hispanic family in a neighborhood with mostly African Americans and white families. After a while, we began to feel comfortable with all of our new playmates.
When we used to live there, “our” vegas was still developing. Most people don’t know that Vegas is really an enormous city divided in 5, smaller “towns” if you will. The North, South, East, West, and of course the strip. We lived in North Las Vegas. There were only a couple of houses old houses. Most were fairly new, and today there are still many more being constructed. The one we lived in was brand new in a new gated community called Saddleridge estates, and all the homes were new and beautiful.

I have already seen La Nouba in Orlando (and absolutely loved it) so this will not be my first Cirque show… maybe that will change your recommendation..
